Robbyn Smith is author of the Hazel Ridge Farm series and soon to be released H is for Honey Bee; a beekeeping alphabet and a full time beekeeper since May of 2012. She has 15 hives on her property and 5 hives in the surrounding area. She and husband Nick live on their 40-acre farm that is protected under a conservation easement with Mid-Michigan Land Conservancy. The farm has 5 ponds and 5 miles of trails weaving through wetlands, woodlands and prairies. Nick builds all her bee equipment and she works the bees. They have been stewards of Hazel Ridge Farm since 1980.
